Troubleshooting my old parker double solenoid valve

I need the exact part number for the double solenoid Parker valve on my older 12-port valve block. Occasionally, the blade hangs in down mode and only cycling the wings clears it, the valve stems were straightened after storm damage

Boy, those old Parker valves can be a real challenge to identify by an exact part number unless there are clear markings still visible on the valve body or main block. I went through a similar headache with an old log splitter my dad has, and often, those "straightened" valve stems can still stick and cause issues like your blade hanging. Are there any numbers stamped on that housing? @Rico Mondres

Yeah, there's a faint set of numbers near the base, but they're hard to read, I'm gonna try cleaning it up and checking again, sticky valve sounds like a solid lead
 
I totally feel you on that. Those old Parker valves can definitely be a real headache when the markings are blurry or nonexistent. I've run into the same struggle with my older gear, too. Just straightening the stems doesn't always fix the sticking, you know? It's worth taking a good look for any numbers or stamps on the housing,sometimes they're super faint, but they could still give you a clue.
 
@Rico Mondres you can reach otu to a parker distributor in your area and get some help from them. You might be able to get things done over the phone with some models numbers and stuff like that. Worst case scenario, they'll ask you to take the valve to them and they can determine the exact solenoid

I was wondering how you made out with that valve block. It can be a real shot in the dark trying to identify those older Parker parts. Were you able to get a readable number off the housing after cleaning it up?
