One of my former clients just signed with Shields for their retail locations, and I'm hearing mixed things from them so far (it's been a while). Anyway, supposedly they undercut our old rates by more than 50 percent. Is that even... ethical? Has anyone here worked with them before?

They undercut a lot to get in the door, but I've heard support and follow through can be quite unreliable, definitely a you get what you pay for kind of situation

Shields definitely has a reputation for aggressive bidding, and honestly, 50% isn't unheard of for them, especially if they're trying to gain market share or if the previous service was priced on the higher side! From their perspective, they're just winning bids and offering competitive pricing. You know, being ethical is subjective! Try to keep an ear out with your former client! If service drops, they'll notice!
