We're looking to upgrade to a bigger machine and are torn between a tractor and a compact wheel loader. We thought about a tractor with a 12' plow, but a small loader seems way more versatile for getting into tight spots.

anyone here using the Cat 906M? how do you like it, and what size pusher would you recommend for one?

The Cat 906M is amazing..with great maneuverability and power for tight spots...and dor plowing, a 10-12' pusher usually works well, but it depends on your typical snow and job size

I'm curious to know for which kind of job you're planning to use it now? Anyway, it's good that you have an all-season machine! And yes, a 10-12' pusher is generally a good match for a Cat 906M. They're pretty nimble and you're right about the versatility over a tractor, especially for tighter areas. Just make sure whatever plow you go with isn't too heavy for it!
