For business people here in the forum, this is all in the back of my mind but who knows I might actually do it. How did you start your business? How many equipments did you start with? and pricing! Of course, how much did you charge for a residential property for example?

Can't answer all but im sure this thread will go on and on, but to answer the how, go for subcontracts.

For me I started small and focused on one service to keep the costs low, and then boom, after a while the clients just come knocking down your own door no need for ads. Just build up a good rep.

It all depends on how you want to do it. @passionfruity has a good idea for usinb subcontractors if you don't want the hassle with equipment and everything else. For me it was a shot in the dark but I didn't had to invest too much. I already had most of the equipment, the truck and the smaller equipment was already mine, so I had to get the plow attachment. apart from that, you'll need to think insurance and marketing and you'll be good to do. It's not a simple as it sounds, but this was more or less the jist of it for me
