power issue on my dad's snow plow

My dad's 2016 2500 HD with an XV2 Fleet Flex plow is having a weird power issue.
He's getting no power to the fish stick controller. If we jump a 4way plug under the hood, the plow works fine, but then he has no plow headlights.

We've already swapped the isolation module and checked all fuses and wiring, but still no luck.

He's totally stumped because the plow itself is fine, but he can't plow at night without lights. Any ideas?

Had a similar issue with my dad's 2016 Silverado and XV2 plow. The Fish Stick wasn't communicating properly with the control module, causing power issues and no headlights. We fixed it by replacing both the solenoid module and Fish Stick controller. Definitely check the communication line first, sometimes just swapping one part won't solve it

I'm curious if the truck and/or plow has seen been sitting for a while this off-season before the issue came out? Maybe, less frequent use can lead to some electrical issues surfacing. How you described it also suggests that there's a specific electrical fault in the controller's power or the headlight circuit.

it sounds like the issue might be upstream of the controller like what @Stu.44 suggested.. i'd double-check the main power lead coming into the plow system before it branches to the controller and the headlight relay. it could be a corroded or loose connection there that's causing these kinds of partial power issues.. also look closely at the headlight relay itself, even if it seems related to the controller issue..

The fact that the plow works with the 4-way bypass tells me the plow side is good. The problem is definitely in the truck-side wiring!! You mentioned you swapped the isolation module, but did you check the relays in that main truck harness? There are a couple of them that control power to the controller and the plow lights. Also, don't overlook a bad ground on the truck frame. Maybe the connections could also use some cleaning!!
