Salt storage

I have A few potential larger projects coming my way for this winter, meaning I'll need to think big. I already did most of the planning and everything, but I'm stuck at figuring out ways to store the salt at a site? I'll probably have it at hand where my equipment is parked, but I'll need to find ways to store it there and protect it from the elements. Anyone have any ideas?

I have seen some of my colleagues (I guess you can call them that) use big bulk bags with covers or just toss up a simple tarp-and-frame setup. If you can swing it, a used shipping container works great and keeps everything dry.

If you're storing salt at the site, keep it simple and dry... use a heavy-duty bin with a lid or build a quick shelter with pallets and a tarp like @Bechara said. Just make sure its off the ground and covered well so moisture doesn't ruin it.

If you have smaller volumes of salt, then the weatherproof bins or IBC totes with lids can help a lot. They're also easy to move around.
