Snowplow headlights in Jersey

Where can I see whether plow headlights are required in my state? Do I have to contact DOT for it or? I want to make sure I'm complying so I am hoping to see any requirement. I feel like all plows have it by nature (I mean make, you know what I mean lol) but I did my DIY plow and it doesn't have one. So I just want to ask if it's a legal requirement?

if I'm not mistaken it varies from one state to another, so your best bet is dot or dmv

Well, what's your state? Reach out to your local law enforcement or have your DIY professionally inspected. You really kinda need this inspection because unless you're a manufacturing company, your snow plow cannot be perfect.
