I'm just starting this snow plow thing and i'm gathering a lot of info right now so i recently read on the internet about "salt applicators license". Can anyone explain what it is? Do i have to have it and how to get it?

From what I have read, if you're just plowing, there's no need for this license. This license is more on applications of chemicals to roads, parking lots to melt ice and snow

Yeah, in many states, especially up north you need a salt applicator license for commercial work. It's about protecting waterways from over salting. Usually, there's a short course and a test through your local environmental agency but If you're just doing small, private jobs, you might not need it,
